The Daniel’s Grace Charitable Foundation presents, Bourbon, Boots, and Blues: A New Orleans Celebration; featuring dinner, drinks and the band, Jackass Flats who promise to turn the evening into a funky southern good time.
Step into Virginia Beach’s “Big Easy” at Sweetwater Cuisine, as we kick it up and “witness what happens when a long standing bluegrass group embraces their melting pot of ‘roots music’ influences, expands into electric band, and works its magic on songs across all genres. Jackass Flats will rev up the night with an astonishing array of party classics from traditional Bluegrass, Country, Pop, Rock, Soul, R&B, and beyond. Expect a repertoire that runs the gamut from Johnnie Cash to The Beatles, Willie Nelson to Prince, Smokey Robinson to The Rolling Stones, all delivered with warm southern charm and infections energy.”
Close your eyes and envision yourself down in the French Quarter sipping on a variety of classic New Orleans cocktails, such as a Hurricane or a Ramos Gin Fizz or even a Bayou Bash.
Sweetwater Cuisine will bring the night to life by offering spicy and authentic cuisine reflecting the New Orleans history as a fusion of French, African and American cultures with food stations of Crab, Creole, Crawfish Dip, Andouille Sausage, Etouffee, Alligator, Oysters, Pot Roast Po’boys, Debris Pot Roast, Banana’s Foster and White Chocolate Bread Pudding.
